Cervelo
Cervelo Cycles from Askew CyclesHistory of Cervelo CyclesCervelo Cycles was first established by two engineers names Gerard Vroomen and Phil White back in 1995. They were busy designing faster Time Trial bikes which they decided to make available to the market. One of the top-ranked Italian pro cyclists approached Gerard, and asked him to design a Time Trial bike that was faster than any other. The men formed a design team and began to build a bike from scratch. The end result was a brilliant bike that caught everybody’s attention. People who saw the bike wanted to know where they could purchase it. The First BikesThe two men decided to start their own company, given that their creation had already garnered the attention of many pro athletes and riders. In February 1996, the first Cervelo bike show was held with only 2 models available to view. Since then, the company has continued to grow, although it still remains relatively small. The company currently employs 8 engineers and adheres to its original objective: “To help our customers win races”. Their Team CSC ranked #1 worldwide and their P3 is the triathlon bike model that has won the most Ironman races with more than 30 victories. Available ModelsThe models available from Askew Cycles includes: the Cervelo P2 SL, the Cervelo P2C and the Cervelo R3. The P2 SL is one of a long line of high-performance time trial/triathlon bikes that first appeared in 1996. The Cervelo P2C is so lightweight and fast, you will have no choice but to race across the finish line ahead of everyone! The Cervelo R3 is a rugged and fast bike that has won the Paris-Roubaix, the worlds’ toughest road race, as well as the mountain stages of the Tour de France! |
