Lanequest Series Round 2 - 2009/10

The 2nd of the 2010 Lanequest series has been organised.  With the other 4 dates annonced on the day.

Lanequest - 2 hour dash around country lanes collecting as many points as possible. Everyone welcome.

Date - 22nd November 2009                       Venue - Greyhound Pub, SHAP Village

Registration - 9am to 10am                        Start - 10am - 10.30am

Lanequest Series Rd 1 2009/10

The 1st winter lanequest took part on sunday 18th October 2009.  Over 30 solo riders and teams took part in the event with old rivalries re-kindled and new one's begun! Congratulations to all those who took part and hopefully you all enjoyed the grub afterwards!  Keep an eye on this and www.Kentvalley.co.uk websites for details of the remaining events.

Free Maintenance Workshop

This Tuesday 2nd June 2009, we are prestenting a free workshop as part of the Kendal bike festival. It is a workshop demonstrating simple bike mechanics, which will make those simple jobs of changing a tyre, fitting gear and/or barke cables that bit easier with a bit on inside knowledge.

The workshop starts at 6pm and will run till 7.30.

RIDLEY BIKES

New for 2009 is the Ridley range. Ridley Bicycles was started by the innovative spirit of one man, Jochim Aerts. A highly-skilled frame builder and painter, Jochim founded Ridley in 1996 and in a few short years, Ridley became a market leader in Belgium for racing bikes. It was Jochim's partnerships with racing clubs and a good eye for advanced racing technology that created Ridley's early success. In 1997 Ridley signed it's first professional team, Spar, and then went on to work with Palmans-Colstrop in 1999. After much race testing, Ridley released the first full-carbon version of the now famous Damocles.
